Dennis Avilucea
Dennis Avilucea, Jr. was born and raised in San Jose, California. He went to Valley Christian High School and earned his degree in English from San Jose State University.
After San Jose State, Dennis moved across the country to Boston, Massachusetts in order to study at Suffolk University Law School. While at Suffolk Law he was a member of the Indigenous People’s Rights Clinic where he worked with the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe of Massachusetts. In addition to his work with the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe he also interned for two years with a well-respected criminal defense firm in the city of Boston.
Dennis returned to the Bay Area after graduating from law school so that he could help the community where he grew up. He is passionate about criminal defense and zealously defends his clients.
In addition to the practice of law Dennis is passionate about the sport of rugby. He has actively played and coached for 14 years with various clubs throughout the Bay Area and Boston including the San Jose State Rugby Club, the San Jose Seahawks, and the Suffolk Law Rugby Club.
